We are putting a Little Free Library in front of our house and brainstorming with our kids our plans for it. Also doing some good old decluttering before the school year starts.
This is the tiniest of tiny writing projects, but this inspired me to go into my Word settings and change the footnote style to be 12 pt instead of 10. Not having to manually change font size with every footnote? A win!
1. Writing wise-I finally typed up all the long hand poems that had been languishing in my folders so I get to start pulling ones that I want to work on. 2. Bleach laundry! My bathmats and the sheets could use a freshening.
yes, perfect! such a little zing accomplishment with both! I also always feel like the longhand to typed transition is a really important part of the process — like, once it's typed it becomes a thing and I can really get to work.
Two little projects for me: 1. go through all the kids' books and donate any that they've outgrown to the local Little Free Library, and 2. revise two poems that I recently received good feedback on!

oh those are both such great ideas! we have neighbors with a Little Free Library and it's the best.
